Description: The "PhantomKM"™ line of PC Keyboard Port Terminators and PS/2 Mouse Port Terminators can be used to terminate the keyboard and mouse ports on all PCs and notebook computers. Vetra Keyboard and Mouse Port Terminators are ideal for stand alone applications where the presence of the keyboard and / or mouse is undesirable, and are also useful in terminating the keyboard or mouse ports of peripheral devices, such as bar-code scanners, when these products are "wedged" into the keyboard / mouse ports of the PC or notebook computer. All "PhantomKM"™ PC Keyboard Port Terminators and PS/2 Mouse Port Terminators utilize Vetra's advanced keyboard and mouse emulation technology, which provides error free boot up and mouse driver loading to the connected PC or notebook computer. In addition, two of the four "PhantomKM"™ models include Vetra's unique "hot-plug" feature, which allows keyboards and mice to be connected or disconnected at any time, providing true "plug-n-play" functionality. Connections: Port connections to all models of the "PhantomKM"™ PC Keyboard Port Terminator and PS/2 Mouse Port Terminator are via 3 foot 6 pin mini-DIN male /male cables provided with the units. The VIP-325 and VIP-329 provide 6 pin mini-DIN female connectors on the unit for connecting their respective devices. For keyboards or PCs that utilize 5 pin DIN connectors, adapters are available (see Accessories ). Specifications: Dimensions for all models are 1.02 in H x 2.50 in W x 3.00 in D (2.59 cm x 6.35 cm x 7.62 cm). The housings are molded of black GE Cycolac-T, a high impact ABS material. All models of the "PhantomKM"™ PC Keyboard Port Terminator and PS/2 Mouse Port Terminator are powered from the connected PC, so no external power supply is required. FCC and CE marked.
